9/26/14

1. I consumed some delicious coffee today! One would expect that it would be pumpkin based, but it was not! It was just a lovely brewed Green Mountain Coffee Breakfast Blend with just the right amount of cream and sugar.

2. I caught up on literally all of my "have to do"'s today. I only have one thing to do tomorrow besides be awesome.

3. My cat Jack is super loving. If I'm on the couch, he's on the couch. If I'm at my desk, he's on my desk. Sometimes I get annoyed, but really I should just be pleased that I have this furball's love.

9/23/14

1. I met the sweetest, friendliest baby today who just wanted to cuddle and snuggle.

2. I felt effective in my job for a little bit... that was nice.

3. My cat Jack was all about the snuggles in the morning.

9/22/14

I struggled with happiness today... but there's always at least three good things.

1. I met with a great working group today and I think we're going to have a great collaboration that will inspire young women to pursue STEM careers. Cool!

2. I bought lunch for a person today who needed it. I don't have a lot, but I have enough to share sometimes.

3. Ismael just brightens my day. He cooked dinner and allowed me to be in this funk.

I'll pull myself out of it...

1. I remembered I started this blog last year and decided to revitalize it-- pretty much a year after I started.

2. I decided to take more charge of my life today, despite struggling for motivation.

3. It's fall. It's beautiful.

1. A kid told me I was a good teacher. It was nice to hear.

2. I've decided that the best way to avoid being brought down by someone in particular is to avoid them.

3. My students are moving forward nicely on their projects! I'm proud of the work they're doing!
